Whether you are a competitive runner trying to beat your personal record, or you’re just looking to get a wellness check this is the event for you. Your friends, and your entire family (no matter what age) to participate in together, no matter your fitness level. Grab your favorite pair of sneakers and join us for health awareness, fitness and valuable information about elevating your health. This is an opportunity for you to gather great advice from our very own resident experts, Dr. Adrian C. Douglass, Dr. Eric High, and other community health professionals. It will be a great Health Fair for everyone!
Dr. Adrian C. Douglass, MD, FACP - is an Internist. You may know him from "Drive Time with Dr. Douglass on WCLK" (Every first Wednesday from 6PM to 7PM on WCLK, FM/91.9) and
Dr. Eric High, MD - is a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist who was recently voted one of Atlanta's Top Doctors by Atlanta Magazine.
Join them for the health fair and informative discussions around health and fitness, and how to best take care of yourself. Registered Runners who complete the race will receive a commemorative medal. All proceeds will be used to support our community mentorship, scholarship, and leadership development programs in Gwinnett County.
COURSE:
This 5K course, beginning and ending at Alexander Park Lawrenceville GA, is a USATF certified route (GA20038WC). This is a Peachtree Road Race Qualifying event and will be timed by professionals.

COMPETITIVE TEAMS:
Join a competitive team. The Top (3) run times from members of each team will be tracked. The lowest combined score (time) will take home the medals....and the bragging rights! If you're not ready to compete, then bypass joining! There are multiple groups created. Contact the Race Administrator if you would like to create a new team.

CHARITY:
The LDAC Foundation funds our Kappa League Guide Right Program. The Guide Right Program is our mentoring program designed to assist young men with leadership development, academic achievement, career counsel, personal development, and parental support. The program offers one-on-one and group mentoring, monthly leadership development workshops that focus on character building and decision making. We presently mentor over 70 young men. Our goal is to expand the guide right program in the Gwinnett County community and offer more opportunities for students to participate. This goal is only achievable through community partners and sponsorship.
The LDAC Foundation was incorporated in 2008 under the laws of the State of Georgia Corporation Division. We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that exists contribute to the advancement and improvement in the quality of life of the citizens of Gwinnett County by engaging in cultural, humanitarian, educational, and community service projects. In partnership with the Lawrenceville-Duluth Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi, we support the philanthropic efforts that have a positive impact on the community.
