Important Update: Ribbon Revolution Run 5K
Dear Ribbon Revolution Runners,
We have an important update regarding the Ribbon Revolution Run 5K scheduled for September 20.
After careful consideration, we've made the difficult decision to cancel this year's in-person Ribbon Revolution Run 5K.
Registration did not reach the level necessary for us to deliver the race-day experience and event quality we believe our runners deserve. Rather than move forward with an event that falls short of the standard we're working to establish for the We Run Gwinnett Race Series, we believe this is the responsible decision.
If you're already registered, your race isn't simply disappearing.
Every registered participant will have two options:
Option 1 — Transfer to Toys & Trotters
Transfer your registration to our December race, Toys & Trotters 5K, on December 12.
Option 2 — Complete Ribbon Revolution Virtually
Complete your 5K virtually and receive credit for Ribbon Revolution.
Whichever option you choose, your participation will still count toward the 2026 We Run Gwinnett Race Series.
For runners who have completed the first two races in the series, your opportunity to earn the 5th/Series Medal remains intact. Complete Ribbon Revolution virtually or transfer your registration to Toys & Trotters, and you'll receive the appropriate series credit toward completing the series.
We'll follow up with instructions for selecting your option, including any necessary deadlines and virtual submission information.
We know many of you were looking forward to gathering with us in Lilburn, and we don't take your registration, trust, or support lightly. Thank you for continuing to believe in what we're building.
Our goal has never been to put races on a calendar. We want to build healthier communities through running and create experiences worthy of the runners who choose to support us. Sometimes that means making a difficult decision rather than compromising the quality of the experience.

Ribbon Revolution is going virtual! 💜🎗️
After careful consideration, RunWell Georgia has made the decision not to hold the in-person Ribbon Revolution Run 5K originally scheduled for September 20, 2026.
Registration did not reach the level necessary for us to provide the race-day experience and event quality our runners deserve. Rather than compromise that standard, we're pivoting Ribbon Revolution to a Virtual 5K while providing our currently registered runners with additional options.
Already registered?
You do not need to register again. Registered participants will receive instructions by email explaining how to select one of the following options:
💜 Complete the Ribbon Revolution Virtual 5K
Run or walk your 3.1 miles from wherever you choose during the designated virtual race window and submit your results through RunSignUp.
🎄 Transfer your registration to Toys & Trotters 5K
Registered participants may instead transfer their entry to our December 12, 2026 Toys & Trotters 5K.
Both approved options will preserve your applicable 2026 We Run Gwinnett Race Series credit. Participants pursuing the Series Medal will receive instructions explaining how the change affects their series participation.
