2025 Greyhound Gallop Business Sponsorship
The Greyhound Gallop offers sponsors a great opportunity to receive significant exposure in the East Cobb and Garrison Mill Communities while supporting a worthy cause! All proceeds from the race will go towards capital improvements at Garrison Mill Elementary School. Our current goal is to install a shade structure over the 1-3rd playground. Estimated cost is $55,000.
Description
Garrison Mill Elementary School’s PTA and Foundation are joining forces to bring the Greyhound Gallop race and invite you to support our school through this popular tradition! All proceeds from the race will go towards improvements to Garrison Mill Elementary School.
Please note that online registration for the 5K run will cut off on March 26th at 11:59PM. Anyone that wants to sign up after online registration is closed may come to packet pick up on Friday or to the race site on Saturday and sign up on site (Digital payments only). The deadline to secure your preferred T-shirt size is March 6th at 11:59PM.
Sprint gallopers, slow trotters, and families are all welcome to run/walk 1K or 5K.
5K is an AJC Peachtree Road Race Qualifying Event!
4 yo & under are welcome to take part in the Giddy Up Gallop Fun Run with our Gary the Greyhound and other friends!

All participants will park at the Wesley Chapel UMC 4495 Sandy Plains Rd, Marietta, GA 30066 and use a provided shuttle to arrive at Garrison Mill. The last shuttle will run at 7:30AM. Please plan to arrive early.
Arrive at 7:00 am for same-day registration and number pickup.
7:30 am 1K race begins.
8:00 am 5K begins. Our course starts at Garrison Mill school, continues through a picturesque Wesley Chapel Road, beautiful Mabry Park and finishing at the school track.
8:45 am Family friendly post race party at the finish line
9:00 am Awards ceremony. Medals for top three female / male 5K finishers in the following age groups:

40-49
50-59
60-69
70 and over
9:30 am Giddy Up Gallop fun run begins on the track for 4 & under
All registered participants will receive a t-shirt (guaranteed if registered before March 6th, 2025).
