Running thru the Flames 5k

On April 11, 2014, our daddy was riding his bike in New Orleans with our Uncle. A man, who was driving while distracted, hit our dad and uncle. Our daddy died and our uncle was critically injured.

We were so very sad, and we didn't know how to deal with our feelings. We were sad! We were angry! We didn't know what to do.

Then our momma found an organization called Kate's Club. Kate's Club was founded to help kids who lose a parent or sibling. When we went there, we realized we weren't alone. Kate's club taught us how to talk about our feelings. We learned how to remember our daddy with happiness instead of sadness. We have made many friends who have experienced the same thing as we did. Kate's Club made our lives so much better.
We realized that we wanted to help give back to Kate's Club, and when we heard about Kid's Boost through the Bert Show, we asked momma if we could do something for Kate's Club.

From there, Running Thru the Flames was born. Please come out and help us as we help others who are running thru the flames of grief.
