Description
Pi Day is back and what better a way to celebrate than with a Pi K?
Pi day is March 14 (Pi=3.14, pretty neat huh:-)). We're celebrating at Roadrunner Sports in Marietta with a Pi K (about 1.95 miles). The race starts at 6:30 pm and we'll have shirts & awards for the top 3 overall M/F, as well as the top 3 masters M/F. Keeping with the theme of the day, we'll be ordering plenty of Pizza Pi's for everyone to enjoy when they're finished.

Awards & Goodies
We have awards for the top 3 overall M/F, Top 3 overall masters (40+), grand master (50+) and sr. master (60+).

Finish Line Pizza Party
There will be hot pizza for all the runners to enjoy as well as some other standard finish line refreshments.
Five Star Turkey Trot Championships
All participants will automatically qualify for FREE entry into the Five Star Thanksgiving Day Turkey Trot. See event website for details.
The Overall Place winners will also receive an invitation to the Five Star 5K Championship Race in to be held in January 2020.
Event Courtesy & Refund Policy
Our events are designed to be fun and for the entire family. With that in mind any competitor, spectator, parent, volunteer, or sponsor, exhibiting unsportsmanlike conduct or interfering with the positive, competitive atmosphere of the event will be asked to leave the venue and course immediately with no refunds.
All registrations are final...there are no refunds, transfers, or deferments.
Virtual Run
So your boss won't let you leave work to come run with us? You can still join in the fun by registering for the virtual run. Run at your convenience and then submit your scores. We will mail your shirt to you and then you can wear your cool shirt to work and show off your inner science guy/gal.

Course & Timing
We're in North Georgia, and there's not much that anyone can call flat & fast. So…It's not pancake flat, but it's pretty darn close. The course is an out & back using the back lot of the Merchants Walk Shopping center and then going out to the WIDE sidewalk along Roswell Rd. We'll be sending everyone out in waves so we don't clog the side walk, so we'll be chip timing for the start & finish.
Costumes are welcome if you want to show off your inner Science guy or gal.
