Assail the Trail

UPDATE:  Assail the Trail has been canceled due to unsafe trail conditions. As much as we hate to cancel, our top priority always has and always will be you safety.

Be sure to save the date for our next race. Lucky Sevens, a 7k trail run at Jackson Hill, will be on July 6th!

Please plan to join TRED for the third annual 5K trail run and 1-mile trail walk on Saturday, April 13 at 9am at the GE Trails at Garrard Park. This unique run will benefit the GE Trails by providing funding to expand the trail system and provide maintenance to the existing trails. All runners and walkers will receive a race shirt. Prizes will be awarded to the top 5K finishers for age groups and the top overall male and female finishers. The 1-mile walk is not timed. 

Please arrive no later than 8:30am to claim your race bag and stretch before the 5k begins at 9am. 

There is race day reg starting at 8:15 for the 5K and the walk. 

RACE FEES AND TIMES 

• 5K RUN-Start Time 9am
  • Before April 10 $30
  •  Day of $35

• 1.2 Mile WALK-Start Time 9:15am
  • Before April 10 $20
  • Day of $25

• Pre-registration ends Wednesday, April 10 at 11:59pm

COURSE:  Both the 5K and the 1-mile walk courses are flat, wooded, and scenic (and possibly muddy depending on the weather! Dress appropriately)
