Teal H.E.A.L Walk

The Rape Crisis Center of the Coastal Empire will host our inaugural Teal H.E.A.L. (Help End Assault with Love) Walk around Forsyth Park on April 9, 2020, from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm.  This unique event allows the Rape Crisis Center to galvanize the support of males in our community by enabling them to show solidarity towards survivors of sexual assault. And to make them aware that we provide services to all survivors of sexual violence. Participants are asked to secure pledges in the amount of their choice from family members and friends to take our mile challenge around Forsyth Park while wearing high-heel shoes to symbolize the steps victims take toward healing. The result of this event is to bring awareness of our services and to establish community partnerships against sexual violence. We ask you to join us as we walk Forsyth Park to support this cause. Please wear the heels of your choice and meet us at the starting point located at the bandshell. In what is going to be a memorable fun event for our community.
