About Our Program
The Clarke County Mentor Program (CCMP) was established in 1991 as a joint initiative between the Athens Area Chamber of Commerce and the Clarke County School District. Our mission is to recruit, train, and support community volunteers to mentor Clarke County School District children to help them reach their full potential. In our 31-year history, we have mentored thousands of students across every grade level in all 21 schools within the Clarke County School District.
