Event Description
Come join us for the in person Oconee Therapeutic Riding 5K Run/Walk to be held on Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Briarwood Baptist Church in Watkinsville, GA. The course will wind through the adjacent neighborhood of Northwest Woods. This year we are offering a Virtual 5K option. Run your 5K anytime before August 29 at 12 noon and submit your finish time on the results page. Virtual runners receive no shirts and no awards.
Proceeds from the race will go towards the continued programs of Oconee Therapeutic Riding and their work with children and adults with special needs, including scholarships.

COURSE
The course winds through the adjacent neighborhood of Northwest Woods. By the way, this neighborhood is where local runners come for their hill workouts!!!!
AWARDS
Special and creative awards will be presented to Overall Male/Female, Masters Male/Female, and top three Male/Female in age groups beginning 10 and under through 80 and over.
RACE SERIES AND FINISH LINE MANAGEMENT
The Oconee Therapeutic Riding 5K is proud to be a member of the Black Bag Race Series and Clover Glove Race Series
Finishline management and timing provided by Classic Race Services.
WHAT IF IT RAINS?
We get wet! Race start time may be delayed in 15-minute increments if storms are in the area. Sorry, no refunds due to inclement weather.
