Run4Troops has been cancelled
We have some news that may or may not come as a surprise as we continue to navigate COVID-19 and the effects it’s left in its wake. Run4Troops will not take place this June.
Earlier this year, you chose to defer your entry fee for Run4Troops from 2020 to 2021. With next year’s race being cancelled we would like to offer you the opportunity to receive a reimbursement of your entry fee or donate it to our men and women in uniform.
Please make your reimbursement selection before the Friday, December 18 deadline. If no action is taken, all remaining entry fees will be donated to the Troops.
We appreciate your continued support of our country’s heroes and your dedication to Run4Troops.
Run4Troops has become a race we look forward to every year. As you might imagine, the planning behind an event of this magnitude begins almost the minute the race before it ends. With that in mind, we have decided to make this announcement early to save additional resources and donate as much to our veterans and active military members as possible.
There’s good news on the horizon with possible vaccines being announced but it’s still unclear when things will return to “normal,” especially in the race community. We will miss you all greatly, but please stay tuned for more information on the future of Run4Troops and opportunities to support our heroes!

Description
IT'S ALL FOR THE TROOPS.
Run4Troops was created to support those who serve. As patriots of America, we are proud to honor our men and women in uniform by donating all proceeds to support Tri-State Military – past, present and future. Hoorah! Whether you’re an elite runner looking to qualify for Boston, a weekend Marathon Maniac, or just getting off the couch to do your first 5k as a part of a relay team, there’s something for everyone.
You'll be sure to PR this fast, gently sloping course. Follow an out-and-back route of a once bustling railroad into a 450 foot deep valley past old mining and mill towns while discovering the rugged beauty that welcomes thousands of bicyclists and hikers each year. The mountain trail in prairie country is set in the deep, rugged woodlands with a gently sloping grade making travel easy and enjoyable. You'll view the numerous river outlooks, sheer limestone bluffs, interpretive sites, and railroad artifacts along this beautiful, crushed-limestone trail that will surely be easy on your knees and joints!
In order to be guaranteed a shirt and medal, you must register before May 15, 2020.
