Description
The Horizons 5k, Powered by FSB, is an inaugural event that we are thrilled to introduce to our community! All proceeds from the event will go towards supporting Horizons programs, including Meals on Wheels, NTS (Neighborhood Transportation Service) and Financial Wellness Center.
We are excited to announce our partnership with the Marion Chamber, as we join forces to combine our 5k with their popular Marion Oktoberfest celebration. After completing the race, don't forget to bring your race bib to the Oktoberfest event, where you can enjoy a complimentary beer! (You must have purchased an Oktoberfest ticket to attend.)
This is a fun non-competitive run, and open to the public. All ages are welcome to run, walk, scoot, skate or skip on the scenic course through downtown Marion, Iowa.

About Horizons
For over 60 years, Horizons has provided essential human services that improve the lives of individuals and families in The Corridor.
Meals on Wheels: Helps older adults and persons with disabilities meet their daily nutritional needs by delivering hot, fresh, ready-to-eat meals Monday through Friday.
Financial Wellness Center: Offers budget, credit and student loan counseling, housing counseling and homebuyer education classes, with HUD certified counselors.
Neighborhood Transportation Service: Offers affordable night and weekend rides to work, education and job training when public transportation is not available.
Award Categories
Something for everyone! Every participant is important at the Horizons 5K, from the first person to cross the finish line to the last. Each person that finishes the race will receive a finisher medal. Awards will also go out to Overall Male and Femals Race Winners, Most Festive Attire, Team MVP (team with the most participants), Fundraising MVP (participant that raised the most).
