We are emailing you to inform you that the Farm 5K For A Cure, originally scheduled for September 20th, has been rescheduled to Sunday, October 26th, 2026. We want to deliver the best possible experience for you and all our race participants and therefore will be postponing the race a few weeks to be better prepared for the event.

Description
Join a new timed 5K race at Bass Farms as we run along the crops to fundraise for the American Cancer Society! Time tracking will be provided by Fitness Sports. In-person check-in will be open at 7:30 am on October 26th at Bass Farms near the admission booth. During this time, all participants will be required to sign a safety waiver and photo release form. If you have registered online through this RunSignUp website, you have completed all waivers during the online registration process.
Race bibs and chips for timing will be provided. The race route is on grass and does include small inclines. See the full race map below.
All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Linn County that funds cancer research grants in Iowa and across the country, free lodging near treatment centers, and patient support 24/7 at cancer.org and our hotline 1-800-227-2345.

This is a 1.51 mile route loop and starts & finishes at the same place. All runners will run the route twice to reach 5K. Walkers will complete one loop.
