IN-PERSON 5K
ANN MORRISON PARK - SUNDAY JUNE 2ND
This fun run will have over 600 people participating with us on Sunday! This is awesome and will make for an incredible race experience, but also means that you need to arrive early. The fun run will start promptly at 9:00 am. We encourage you to arrive to the event NO LATER THAN 8:15 am. This will give you enough time to park (the later you arrive, the harder it will be to find parking), find the start line and join us in some pre-event activities!
The event will take place at Ann Morrison Park in Boise, ID on the Northwest side of the park (near Americana Blvd). The park is large, so please use this pin to direct you to the proper location in the park. If you need to type in a location to put into your Maps application, the "Ann Morrison Park Duck Pond" or "Together Treasure Valley Dog Island" are two good options. If you direct towards "Ann Morrison Park" without specifying a location, there is a chance that it will direct you to the Southeast side of the park instead, depending on where you are coming from.
RACE-DAY PACKET PICKUP
If you were unable to pick up your packet ahead of time, you will be able to pick up your packet on race day from 7:30 am - 8:30am in the area marked below. Please arrive as close as possible to 7:30 am if you are picking up your packet so that you are able to start the event on time!
PARKING AREAS:
As mentioned above, we have a big race going on, which is awesome! Please park in one of the areas pictured below. The later you get to the event, the further you will likely have to park. Even more reasons to get there early!
COURSE MAP:
Our course for Sunday is a simple out and back starting from the northwest corner of Ann Morrison Park. The course stays on the south side of the river along the Greenbelt and all participants will travel east for 1.57 miles and then turnaround to come back to the finish. There will be an aid station at the turnaround with water and cups.
An interactive map of the course can be found here.
Thank you everyone for helping us kick off the month leading up to National Wildland Firefighter Day strong! We are so excited to see you all in less than 2 days!
