Star COLOR Run

Star Elementary PTO is excited to bring the FIRST ever COLOR RUN to Star on April 30, at 8:30 am.  Everyone is welcome!  The race is a one mile run beginning at Star Elementary School, north on side of Star Rd to Floating Feather, south on the opposite side of Star Rd, ending at Blake Park. There will be five COLOR stations along the route where participants will be splattered with dry paint.  The AFTER PARTY at Blake Park will be hopping with DJ Joe, music & dancing, giveaways for registered runners, photo booth to capture your paint covered family and friends, yummy food and drinks, and a magnificent Countdown Color Throw Finale, even your non-runners will want to participate.

Runners will receive Star COLOR Run Swag Bags full of LOTS of freebies (including a cinch sack, a custom 2016 Star Color Run shirt and bib number, sunglasses and more), a snack and water.  Swag bags will be sent home with your Star Elementary student prior to the run or are available for pick up Thursday, April 28th from 5:00-6:30 PM in the far portable at Star Elementary School.

Late Registration is from April 2- April 8th with no guarantee of a shirt or SWAG bag.

Everyone should be prepared wearing apparel you don't mind getting a little bit colorful in.  Color mostly washes out. For best results, dust off as much powder and then wash separately in cold water immediately after.  To permanently keep your splattered color on your shirt, soak in vinegar before washing.  Sunglasses are encouraged.

Children not yet in Kindergarten are welcome to participate free of charge with a registered adult, however they will not receive a t-shirt or swag bag.  To enjoy the full experience, a paid registration is required for that child.

Allergies:  paint consists of a mixture of constarch and dry, non-toxic, tempera paint
