Description
Start Independence Day off with a BANG and join us for a 1-mile FUN Run/Walk or a fun 5K, then stay for all the celebration activities throughout the day including a parade!
The 5K will be officially timed by the Decatur Running Club and awards will be given to the first 3 finishers in each age group of male and female.
The 1-mile FUN Run/Walk will not be timed. Children 2 and under are FREE, but still need to register!
Both routes start/end at the Piatt County Forest Preserve. 5K awards ceremony will start at 9am.
Snacks, water and Gatorade will be provided after the race. The 5K route will have a water stop on the course.
Make it even more fun and festive by dressing patriotic!
