Fleet Feet Fall Park Challenge

This fall we want to challenge you and your families to get outside and run, walk, bike and hike our Central Illinois parks.

Stay close to home or make it an adventure and travel just a little outside of McLean County.  All you have to do is visit a park and do a little exercise.  In order to check the park off the list you will need to submit your mileage completed.  Does it matter how far you went?  No.  Does it matter how fast you went?  Definitely not.  All that matters is that you went.

We’ve got a list started below and we may even add to it before the challenge is over.  Visit at least 8 parks and you will have completed the challenge and earn a super cool trucker hat.  Join our Facebook group and share your routes and your smiles – and maybe even find a friend to share the drive.  https://www.facebook.com/groups/4262318983809305 

Oh – and we want this to be a family adventure.  We’ve got youth pricing and encourage you to sign your family us as a Team.  Tell the kids that their role is super important on the team because teams will submit mileage as a group.  If the Jones Family has two parents and three kids and they all go on a one mile adventure at Starved Rock they will log FIVE miles for the team.

And if you have completed our first two challenges in 2020 you know that photos of snacks (donuts) and post run beverages (beer) are encouraged in our Facebook group. 

Submitting Your Result
An important part of this Virtual Challenge is submitting your miles at each park, so you can see how you rank.  Beginning August 17th you will be able to submit your miles.  Click on the link below.  You can submit miles from Aug 17 - Oct 26.
