Description
Love Wine? Like Walking or Running? This race is for you!
Join us on Sunday, April 10th, 2022 for our 2nd annual Wine Run 5k that features the scenic views of Walker's Bluff Winery, and the great Wine produced by locally owned by Walker's Bluff Winery. Walking is allowed and we have shortcuts, this race is a sure thing for a great time!
Awards: We are doing finisher medals for all participants so there are no age group medals, however, we will have a race clock as you cross the finish line if you want to see your results. This race will not be chip timed.
Packet pickup: We will hold packet pickup the morning of the race from 8:00 am to 8:50 am. The race will start at 9:00 am.
FAQ's
Is the race only for 21+? No, minors are welcome to participate, but they will get a free soda instead of wine.
Is walking allowed? Yes, absolutely! Are strollers allowed? Yes
Is the race dog friendly? Yes, but please make sure you dog is on a leash.
Race Swag
Race Swag: All participants will receive a race t-shirt, race bib, drink ticket for a pour of 5 oz wine, a souvenir wine glass, and a finisher medal!!! *Our race t-shirt is purple this year; however, with COVID supplier issues it could come in black or another possible color depending on vendor supply availability*

Refer your friends, How does it work? It's simple once you register for the race you will receive a unique registration link (URL) that is assigned to your registration. Share your URL (we send it in confirmation email & you can share it instantly on Facebook at the time of registration) with your friends and on your social media pages and through your email contacts. Get to 20 referrals (people who register on your URL link) and you will get $25 back and 10 bottles of wine!!!

Course Map
This course is completely on Walker's Bluff private property and does not go on county roads. The race starts and finishes in the same location. Runners will run the course which goes around the perimeter of the property next to the vines! It is a 1.55 mile course which runners and walkers will do twice to complete the 3.11 mile 5k course! This is a beautiful course and runners will take in great scenery along the way. Come run with us!
