Blind Faith Chgo Presents Funlympics (2024)

Driving down Lake Shore Drive one summer afternoon, we noticed a sign for a local 5k.  It occurred to us that every spring/summer/fall organizations are often having walks/runs to raise funds and have their participants enjoy some time outside.  The vision for this event is to get families and friends to enjoy time outdoors, but also have them participate in some fun and exciting activities as well.  It was after that drive that the Funlympics idea was conceived. 

The Funlympics will be a one-of-a-kind of experience!  To participate in this event, you can participate as a team of 4-7 individuals for the group events.

Registrants are encourage to fundraise for Blind Faith Chgo.  The registrant with the highest fundraising total will receive a prize as well. 

Our original plan was to have each team design a t-shirt for judging.  We are continuing with this plan.  Each team (or individual) is encouraged to design a t-shirt for judging and submitting the final design by July 4, 2020.  The designs will be placed for judging.  The winner of this year's shirt design will be the design for our 2021 Funlympics event.

Participants will choose their activity, follow the guidelines for uploading proof of participation and wait to find out who the ultimate winner for each category.  The winner of the Funlympics will have bragging rights until next year's event and their team will be featured on all of our social media platforms.
