2020 Hero Hut Virtual 5K/10K

Join us this Veteran's Day for the 2020 Hero Hut Virtual 5K/10K!  This inaugural nationwide event will kick off Hero Hut's 2021 fundraising efforts!  Our goal is to use this annual race to celebrate our veterans while supporting our nationwide efforts for the upcoming event season.  Hero Hut was always meant to be more than just a hospitality tent for veterans and first responders at festivals or events.  Our mission is to support and encourage veterans of all generations to discover a civilian life defined by service and surrounded by community. It is clear that too often veterans leave the service, isolated, without the resources, and without the community they need and deserve.  We hope to do our small part to change that through partnership and collective effort.  By bringing together a diverse group of like-minded organizations and resources, we seek to create a welcoming, low-pressure environment for veterans to learn about services and opportunities in their area, build friendships, and forge a connection to their local community.   

These days, the importance of building community and bringing people together cannot be overstated.  Our efforts are fueled by your support!  We thank you for joining us and look forward to seeing everybody's pictures/videos from the race!
