St. Paddy's Day 5K Chicago

Wow, 20 years? My goodness, that's a lot of St. Patrick's Day celebrating that we've done.  Get yourself glammed up green and join us down at Diversey Harbor on Saturday, March 13th for this crazy fun Lincoln Park lakefront run. All participants will receive a race shirt and finisher's medal.

Live Event Details

The event starts in Chicago's historic Lincoln Park neighborhood across the street from the Peggy Notebart Nature Museum, just at the south end of Diversey Harbor. The course is perfectly picturesque, winding through the unforgettable Diversey Harbor and Belmont Harbor areas along Chicago’s iconic lakefront. 

With safety and social distance as one of our top priorities, the 5K run begins at 10 am in three separate waves limited to 100 runners per wave. Participants north to the Barry Street underpass at Lake Shore Drive. It then heads south along the lakefront path, turning around near the theater on the lake building and heading back north to the underpass. Proceed south to the finish line, just north of Fullerton Avenue on the path adjacent to Cannon Drive, and you've got it!

There is a water station on the course, and each water station is passed both before and after the "turnaround".

Parking - If you're feeling lucky, you can snag one of the 100 free parking spaces near the start line along Cannon Drive. If not, don't worry! There is plenty of paid parking in the nearby Diversey Harbor parking lots, and just across the street at the Lincoln Park Zoo.

Virtual Event Details

Our virtual athletes will receive the same great swag and will have the flexibility to complete the 5k your way - wherever you are, anytime you want on March 13th, 2021. You'll also have access to an interactive course experience through the RaceJoy app. 

Packet Pick Up Only - No Race Day Pick-Up or Registration

Packet pick up at Fleet Feet Old Town on Thursday, March 11th and Friday, March 12th, from 12pm to 7pm both days. Come by, grab your swag, and pick up any gear or nutrition you'll need for the upcoming Spring running season. Fleet Feet stores only allow a limited number of customers at any given time so it is highly recommended that attendees sign up for a pick-up slot HERE.
