Description
A 3.1 mile course will take you through winding wild-flower and tree-lined paths and the streets of the Highland Woods Subdivision in Elgin, IL. This course will offer some slight uphill challenges, not all that ferocious, as well as some downhill relief with plenty of flat areas! Whether you run or walk, we hope you will find it a peaceful and visually relaxing journey.
Proceeds will go to the Central School District 301’s youth programs and for classroom resources and technology equipment.

T-shirts are not guaranteed with registration after April 20th!!!!!
Awards will be given to the following 5K age groups:
- Men: Top Finishers 1- 9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
- Women: Top Finishers 1- 9, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60+
- Top participant pushing a stroller!
All 1 Mile Kids Run participants will receive a medal. Awards will be given to the top runners in the following age groups:
- Boys: Top Finishers 1-7, 8+
- Girls: Top Finishers 1- 7, 8+
