All money raised will allow Christmas Without Cancer to continue their mission of helping southland families battling the devastation of cancer.

Dear Friends,
Christmas Without Cancer (CWC) is a local 501(c)3 NFP that was started in 2003 by an oncology nurse, Gerri Neylon. Gerri was moved by the struggles of families that were undergoing cancer treatments and the physical, emotional, and financial expenses of the disease. The organization began by "adopting" a family affected by cancer during the Christmas season. Today, CWC is able to help families not only at Christmas, but throughout the entire year.
Since founding, CWC has helped thousands of local southland families. 2023 was a record year for CWC. Through the support of many, CWC was able to help 470 families throughout the year and 116 families at Christmas through:

$218,457.46 in financial assistance for mortgage/rent, tuition, and household expenses

$117,105.03 to provide much needed holiday joy

$56,250 in gift cards for gas, medications, and groceries
CWC will be hosting our 10th Annual 5k Run/Walk on Saturday, September 21st at Klein Park (Circle Park) in Evergreen Park, IL. Our goal is to raise funds to continue our mission of helping families fighting this awful disease during challenging times. We are asking for your support to achieve our goal with a sponsorship or in-kind donation. Any donation you or your company can make is greatly appreciated.

Christmas Without Cancer (EIN #32-0299001) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization and contributions are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. No goods or services were received in consideration of this contribution.
