Porter Cullens Brian Piccolo Event Rescheduled

New Date: TBD

❗ Event Update: Porter Cullens Spirits Run
Unfortunately, we need to cancel this weekend’s Spirits Run at Porter Cullens due to low registration. With only two runners signed up, we aren’t able to host the event at the level of energy and community fun we aim for.

We’re currently working with Porter Cullens to choose a new date, and we’ll share the updated schedule as soon as it’s confirmed. All registered participants will be contacted directly with options for transferring to the new date or receiving a refund.

Thank you for your understanding and for supporting the Spirits Run series. We look forward to bringing this event back soon with a full crowd and the great atmosphere Porter Cullens is known for.

Here Are Your Options:

We will transfer your registration to the new event date once it is set, and look forward to having you join us. Thanks for your patience!

You understand that events are expensive, even when cancelled, and you want us to keep your registration fees to help cover our costs. We deeply appreciate your generosity and look forward to seeing you at an event soon.

We understand. We hope you can join us next time.

Description

🏃‍♂️ Brian Piccolo Legacy Run at Porter Cullens
A neighborhood tribute run from Porter Cullens to St. Mary Catholic Cemetery and back

The Brian Piccolo Legacy Run begins at Porter Cullens Irish Pub in the heart of Evergreen Park, sending runners on a meaningful out‑and‑back route through the quiet residential streets that shaped Piccolo’s early life. This 5K is designed as a community tribute — a chance to run in the spirit of courage, grit, and heart, just as Brian lived.

Participants head south from Porter Cullens toward historic St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, the resting place of Brian Piccolo. The turnaround point is a peaceful, reflective moment inside the cemetery gates, where runners can pause briefly to honor his legacy before beginning the return journey.

The run finishes back at Porter Cullens, where the pub’s warm, Irish‑American hospitality welcomes everyone across the line. Whether you’re a lifelong Bears fan, a lover of local history, or simply someone inspired by Piccolo’s story, this event blends neighborhood charm with a powerful sense of purpose.

It’s a simple route with a big heart — a run for courage, for community, and for Brian.
