Start your Spring off right! Spring into fitness with the YMCA’s annual 5k walk/run open to all ages. All proceeds benefit the YMCA Annual Campaign which supports the Y’s mission to strengthen our community through youth development, healthy living, and social responsibility. At the Y, we believe that lasting personal and social changes can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health, and our neighbors. Every day, we work to make sure that everyone, regardless of age, income, or background, has the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive.
This race is part of the Rockford Road Runners Circuit.
Awards to Top Overall Female and Male and 1st through 3rd in each age group. Age groups are: 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+
Must Register by April 28, 2023, to receive a T-shirt. T-shirt Not guaranteed if registered after 4/28/2023.
Packet Pick-up Friday, May 5th, 5:00-6:45 PM or Race Day 7:30 - 8:45 AM.

FHN Healthy Heart Hustle 5K & 10K
Join us on Saturday, July 16th to give your heart a run and raise money to support the FHN Cardiopulmonary Department. Both races will start and finish from the FHN Burchard Hills Clinic with most of the course running along the walking path that runs behind and south of the clinic. Just enough rolling hills to keep you honest! Runners competing in the 10K will run into scenic Krape Park. Course certification is pending.
The 5k and 10K runs will begin at 8 a.m. The 1 mile Victory Lap around the Burchard Hills campus will start immediately following. We know some of our "alumni" from our Cardiopulmonary Rehab program will be making the walk. Cheer them on!
Awards to the Overall Male and Female finisher plus the top three finishers in the following age groups: 1-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+.
