Description
The 5K Fun Run and Family Walk brings together parents, children, grandparents and friends to enjoy the outdoors, get active, and raise vital funds. Participants fundraise from their peers to run or walk the 5k route. There'll be music, face painting and other fun for the kids, as well as opportunities to talk with our sponsors and partners.
Race Details: Participate in our 5K chip timed race, a non-timed family walk, a 100 meter toddler dash and family friendly activities.
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 29, 2024
- BLUE STAR MEMORIAL WOODS - 701 E Lake Ave. Glenview, IL 60025
- Race Day Packet Pick Up and Registration: Starts at 7:15am and closes at 8:15 a.m.
- Opening Ceremony: 8:00 a.m.
- Immediately following: Kids Dash, followed by 5K Runners and Family Walkers join once runners have begun!
- Please plan to stay for our Community Day, with a DJ, face painters, a food truck, raffle prizes, and activities led by Game On! Sports 4 Girls and much more.
** If you register the week of the Race (9.22), we cannot guarantee a race shirt. You will have a race bib, receive swag and enjoy our wonderful day! **
At the Chicago Coalition for Family Building, we believe that everyone who wants to start a family deserves the chance.
Our mission is to remove financial barriers that prevent the creation of a family. As we work toward this goal, we take action to financially and emotionally support those struggling with infertility.
