Description
Come and join us for a colorful fall run along the beautiful bluffs of the Mississippi River. The Race Course is on the scenic Great River Road Trail that will be closed to the public for the duration of the race. The timed race will start and finish at the Alton Water Ski Club Site at Clifton Terrace Park. Come out and support the Alton Water Ski Club River Road Renegades Show Team, so they can continue to provide free water ski shows, opportunities for the community to learn to ski, and provide continued support to organizations such as the Disabled Waterski Association. Swimsuits over running attire are optional if you want to be an honorary Renegade!
To guarantee a t-shirt, register by Oct 6th, 2014. Registration and runner's bag pick up will be held at the Alton Water Ski Club on Friday, October 17th from 4pm. – 7pm. and Saturday, October 18th from 7am. - 8:45am.
Awards are for the top 3 overall male and female finishers in each of the following categories: 19 and under, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 and over. Ceremony will begin promptly after the race along with post-race refreshments. Stay and join the festivities.
