The pitcrew of the Hull of a Race would like to thank all who participated in our past events. We feel with the progression of Covid-19 it is in everyone's interest to suspend the 2020 event. Hopefully 🙏 Covid-19 will relax its grip on society and the Hull of a Race may resume in 2021.

Due to Covid-19 the directors of the Hull Of a Race have elected to suspend the August 15, 2020 event. We feel the health of the participants and event personnel out weighs our mission. We plan to hold the event in 2021. Thank you for your understanding.
Come join us Saturday August 15, 2020 for the 15th. annual Hull of a Race. Our Mission: A 501(C)(3) Public Charity. All proceeds from the event go to Parkinson's Research.
Events:Kids 1/2 mile fun run, 5k/10k Competitive Race, 5k Fun Walk/Wheel Chair/Baby Stroller Roll, and party afterwards
When: August 15, 2020
The 5k/10k competitive races and 5k Fun Walk/Wheel Chair and Baby Stroller Roll start at 8:00am, and the kids 1/2 mile is at 7:45am (CDT).
Where: All timed events start/end at 290 Main Street at the corner of Main & Dixie streets in downtown Hull, 62343 (across from the s/w corner of the park).
Courses: The 5K/10K courses are USATF Certified (IL11090JW, IL11091JW) weave through the village of Hull and the surrounding countryside past the bountiful corn and soybean fields.
Timing: The 5k/10k events are professionally chip timed by Elvish Consulting. Overall awards are based on Gun time; age group awards are based on chip (net) time.
Awards: Will be announced following the adult race: Trophies, Medallions, & Ribbons
Age Groups: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over
Shirts: Shirts are guaranteed to those signing up by August 1. Shirts are not guaranteed to those signing up after August 1.
Entry Fee: $25 per person for the 5K/10K if registered by Saturday, August 1.
$30 per person for the 5K/10K if registered after August 1, and a shirt is not guaranteed. SAVE $5; register by August 1.
$10 per child for the 1/2 mile Kids Fun Run, if registered by Saturday, August 1 ($15 after). SAVE $5; register by August 1.
$80 per family of up to 4 for the 5K/10K, if registered by Saturday, August 1 ($90 if after). SAVE $10; register by August 1.
Refunds: Come rain or shine, the race will be run. Lightning will postpone and/or cancel the race.
NO REFUNDS – we’ll trust Mother Nature.
Packet Pickup: Pre-registered participants may pick up packets on Friday night, August 14 at the downtown park from 6pm to 8pm, and from 6:45am-8:00am on August 15 in the shelter next to the Fire Station on Main St.
Raffles: $1 per ticket. Print your name and phone# on the back of the ticket. The certificate raffle will be after the adult race.
