Scout All-Out 5K

We are excited to announce our 4th Annual Scout All-Out 5K. 

Rallying around Scout pride and school spirit, we are excited for a school tradition to celebrate our students and our school community. The focus of this event is UNITY. Wherever you are, we want our students, staff, family members, alumni, community members, and friends to all join in on the fun. 

The Scout All-Out 5K is a fundraiser. The goals of this event are threefold: Unity, School Spirit, and Fundraising/Scholarship. All proceeds will go directly into our Student Council class accounts to create fun and enriching learning experiences for our students at Lake Forest High School. Last year, the class accounts were able to offset the cost of a freshman-only LightScapes field trip, host a Valentine’s Day party for the Little Scouts Pre-School, and provide special student-only perks, to name a few! 

Dr. Chala Holland, a previous building principal, created the 5K as a way to bring the entire community together in support of our students. At the end of her tenure, the Champion of Change Scholarship was formed in her name and is awarded to an LFHS junior or senior who embodies the mission and vision of inclusion on campus and advocates for equity in our community. Therefore, $500 from our race proceeds will be set aside to fund the Champion of Change Scholarship.

Scout All Out 5K Race Day Schedule

7:30 AM: Late packet pick-up and walk-up registration

8:30 AM: 5K Warm-up stretch (on your own)

9:00 AM: Scout All Out 5K Run/Walk (3.1 miles)

                1-Mile walk begins after runners start

Hot chocolate will be served at the finish line!
