Chasing the Sun

Presented by the New Lenox Chamber of Commerce and the New Lenox Community Park District, the Chasing the Sun 5K benefits educational scholarships and programs provided by both organizations. This year's race/fitness walk offers a 5k certified course starting and finishing in The Commons with a post-race family-friendly party to follow!  This race is timed and scored by T&H Timing. 

T-Shirts:

• To guarantee a race shirt in your size, you must register by Wednesday, May 8, 2024.
• All participants in the 5k will receive a T-Shirt (while supplies last.

Packet / BIB Pick-Up:
Race bibs, runner swag bags & shirts will be available for pick-up on race day, Thursday, June 6, 2024, in New Lenox Village Commons starting at 5 PM. 

Race Details:

• The race will begin promptly at 6 PM.
• The race starts and finishes in New Lenox Village Commons.
• A post-race party will take place in New Lenox Village Commons. Runners will receive pizza/hotdog and a beverage.
• Runners and their families are invited to visit with our event sponsors. 
• The awards ceremony will take place on the stage at approximately 7:30 PM.
