Villa Grove Ag Days 5K

Start and finish your 5K run or walk at the main stage of Ag Days events! Participants and their families may enjoy a day full of entertainment, including music, food and merchandise vendors, games, and rides. After the race stick around for live music at the festival! We have awesome shirts that are free for everyone who registers by July 31st, so be sure to meet the deadline! Enjoy food vendors free from guilt as you've already worked off the calories, and consider sticking around for a fun and exciting demolition derby!

This year's race features an exciting new category with a division designed for current and former high school cross country runners. We'll score it like a meet and watch the showdown unfold between two fierce teams in an event unique in the running landscape. Team one will consist of those who will compete on fall 2023 cross country teams and/or are currently in high school. Team two will consist of alums from high school cross country teams. We'll award medals for the first 7 finishers and designate a champion. Come show your stuff in a great pre-season event for current runners or fun way to show you still have it if you're an alum. There will be no age divisions for this event. Just sign up as current high school runner or high school running alum as you register.

The race is a fundraiser for the Villa Grove Junior High cross country team, a self-funded sport that provides an opportunity for students in grades 5 through 8 to compete. If you can't race, please consider donating to help us achieve our $5,000 fundraising goal! If you can race, we hope you'll consider giving a little extra as you register.
