ALL proceeds benefit The Animal Protection League Inc., a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization that depends on tax-deductible donations.
REGISTER NOW to start raising much needed, lifesaving funds.
Choose from three registration options:
Top Dog: $25 Registration Fee - Walkers will receive a tail wagging treat bag and and event t-shirt will be mailed AFTER the event.
Whisker Walker: Free - Whisker Walkers can walk for free, but will not be eligible for an event t-shirt or treat bag.
Cat Napper: $25 Registration Fee - Cat Nappers participate virtually and receive an event t-shirt in the mail.
This PET-TACULAR event is more than a fundraising walk, it's fun for the entire family! Join us for pet-friendly activities, vendor booths, adoptable pets, food trucks, and so much more!
Why participate?
As the only open-admission shelter in Anderson, we face many challenges on a daily basis. The FURlong - A Walk in the Park helps keep our doors open and the animals in our care alive. While our role as "animal control" for the city helps offset some of the costs involved with operating a shelter, it represents less than 20% of the funds needed to make this place work. Animal care costs, medical needs, staffing, utilities - the list is never ending. Your support is needed now more than ever.
