Description
Race a course lit by torch and moon light!
Race a course lit by moonlight and tiki torches through the woods on paved roads, bike trails, and a well-maintained gravel road.
All proceeds benefit Patoka’s educational birds of prey program. With your help, we can support the lives of these non-releasable ambassadors used in educational programming.
Arrive at the beach no later than 8:30p.m. to register and pick up your packet on Friday, June 21st. T-shirt sizes will be guaranteed if ordered by June 7th.

Onsite Registration and Packet Pick-up:
*Friday June 21st from 12:00pm - 3:00pm at the Patoka Lake Nature Center and from 4:30pm – 8:30pm at the beach
Awards
Awards will be given to overall male and female winners and 1st, 2nd and 3rd place male and female winners of the following age groups: 14 and under, 15 -19, 20 -29, 30- 39, 40- 49, 50- 59, 60 -69, and 70+.
Recreation Area Entrance Fee
Race participant’s vehicle entrance fees are waived. All other vehicles will pay the $7 entrance fee; $9 out of state vehicles.
Cancellation
In the event of cancellation, no refunds will be made. Entries are not transferable or exchangeable.
Amenities
There are onsite shower houses and restrooms. Camping is available onsite.
Lodging
Campgrounds are available onsite. Cabins are available locally. Other lodging is available in the cities of Jasper (19 miles west) and French Lick (17 miles north).

Boating, skiing, fishing, kayaking, archery, hiking trails, fitness trail, 6 mile paved bike trail, disc golf course, & more.
Directions
The race will be held at Patoka Lake, 3084 N. Dillard Rd. Birdseye, IN 47513. However, the town where we are actually located is Wickliffe, IN. GPS and MapQuest directions are usually accurate in locating the property using the address above.

Course Info
Race 3.1 miles through the woods paved roads, paved bike trails, and on a well-maintained gravel lane lit by moonlight and tiki torches. Runners must wear the race bib in front on their shorts or shirts. There will be 1- 2 water stations along the course.
