Description
The winter may be the "off" season, but that does not mean we take it off. Winter in Indy is some of the best times to get outside, battle the elements, make memories, and get stronger. We know this, and that is why we continue to raise the bar each winter on Indy's favorite winter race series. This year Indy Winter XC will offer a 4 race series AND a 3 month Winter Harrier Mileage Challenge. We will keep you motivated November through February getting stronger, faster, and having a blast all the while. We have 3 courses lined up for your to battle through, and as always if you can't make one of the events simply race it virtually on the course at your preferred time, or a route of your choosing. There are additional awards for the series so be sure to sign up for the full series! The top male/female earns 25 points, 24 for 2nd, 23 for 3rd, and continues through 24th. 25+ earn a point a piece. Points for your top three events combine to give you a buffer in case you can't make a race or simply bonk a race. Make this winter your best yet!! #IRUNWINTER
New Updates for 2020:
Due to COVID-19, and the typical intimate style of this race series we will ONLY be allowing registration for the entire series. Spots are capped and it will sell out. This allows us to keep the price low, the SWAG great, and the chaos controlled and safe for all participants. If you are not able to make it to a specific event then simply race that one virtually and still earn all the awesome gear!
We added the Indy Winter Harrier Mileage Challenge:
The goal is simple...run/walk 300 miles in 3 months (technically December 1-February 28th). We will provide support/motivation via a closed Indy Winter XC Facebook group. We will offer groups meetups/runs through the winter, and we will push you to get out and rack up those winter miles. We can't wait to take this journey with our winter runners/walkers! How many of us can get into the 300 mile club!
Angry Turkey

Angry Turkey XC is about a few simple things. Racing fast, getting dirty, and enjoying the exhilarating rush of euphoria you get as you cross that finish line- having left everything on the course, of course! We kick off the Indy XC Series on the new Brownsburg Cross Country Championship Course; which plays host to the annual Brownsburg Invite and now serves as the Sectional 17 Course. This course is flat and fast, winding throughout the grassy paths and the 1k wooded loop. Once it is filled with die hard “Angry Turkey” fans hooting and hollering for you to go faster & be better-it will surely be epic! If you are looking for a perfect XC race, with a fast course then this is the one for you. Why would you not race the Angry Turkey?! Be different, be fast, and BE the Angry Turkey who always leads the Flock.

You make em, and you’ll surely be breaking them… and we honestly don’t care a whole lot. Truth is we just care about gritty painful racing! There is no doubt that training will give you confidence to perform at your best. Reality is training or not, if you’re racing right it’s going to hurt like heck! We want grimace, we want to see the pain, and we want to laugh in your face as you plow through all that the course, Mother Nature, and your competitors can throw at you. Join us shortly after you set those lofty goals of health and fitness to truly test yourself in the Resolution XC race at Washington Township Park. Resolution XC is shattering dreams & breaking resolutions one painful race at a time.

You've conquered the Beaver Chase in the heat of the summer, and now Bucky is back for REVENGE! Can you handle the course as a frozen tundra? Bucky thinks not. We can't wait to host you all for an epic 5k on Graham Martin Course featuring 4k of grass, and a 1k wooded loop with sand, dirt, hills, tree jumps, and more! Hopefully it will be snow covered, and as challenging as could be, but either way you need to show up ready to disappoint Bucky and crush the course yet again! Bucky's Revenge XC Trail Race...no talk, all bite.
