The RiverStage is located along the banks of the Ohio River in downtown Jeffersonville, Indiana. It is just minutes off of Interstate 65. The course is out and back, serving up fantastic views of Louisville with a turnaround at the Falls of the Ohio.
From Kentucky
Take I-65 N. toward INDIANAPOLIS Crossing over the Kennedy Bridge into INDIANA.
Take EXIT 0 at the end of the bridge.
Turn RIGHT at the bottom of the ramp onto W. COURT AVE.
Proceed .4mi to SPRING ST.
Turn RIGHT onto SPRING ST. and proceed to the end of the street.
From Indiana:
Take I-65 S. toward Louisville.
Take EXIT 0 before the Kennedy bridge.
Turn LEFT at the bottom of the ramp at the stop sign onto ILLINOIS AVE.
Proceed to next stop sign and turn LEFT onto RIVERSIDE DR.
Proceed to SPRING ST. – RiverStage is on your Right.
Description
PLANT 5K Run & Walk is Louisville Grows annual fundraiser to support our mission to grow greener, healthier neighborhoods by planting 5,000 trees by 2025!

The race-organizing team is working towards producing zero-waste event.

Old shoes donations will be accepted on-site for recycling.

Composting, recycling, and waste containers will be provided.

T-shirts will be available as an add-on at registration.
This event benefits Louisville Grows. Louisville Grows is an environmental, nonprofit organization whose mission is to Grow Greener, Healthier Neighborhoods. Our vision is to foster green, just and sustainable neighborhoods in Louisville. We seek to be a leading nonprofit in advocating for health equity through the environmental platforms of urban forestry and urban agriculture. Louisville Grows’ neighborhood-based urban forestry program focuses on rebuilding the urban tree canopy with a goal of planting 1000 trees each year.

This course starts and ends at the Jeffersonville RiverStage at the intersection of Spring Street and West Riverside Dr (Jeffersonville, IN 47129). Street parking is available in Jeffersonville, though many of our participants have chosen to park in Louisville's Waterfront Park to enjoy the walk across the Big Four pedestrian bridge for a warm-up and cool-down.
