Mishawaka Promise 5K

At the 3rd Annual Mishawaka Promise 5K Run/Walk participants will begin the race at Central Park, wind through scenic Beutter Park along the St. Joseph River, wander through Battell Park, pass through Kamm Island and cross the finish line again at Central Park. Awards will be given to the top male and female in each age category and overall male and female.

This year's theme will be a tailgate to embrace Notre Dame's Fighting Irish home football game later in the day. Mini race/walk participants are encouraged to support their favorite college football team by wearing a college t-shirt. Nelson's Port-a-Pit will be on hand to furnish chicken and their famous Pit-tatoes®. Be sure to get your chicken and purchase a ticket in advance during the registration process.

Benefits from the event will fund the Mishawaka Promise initiative of raising $2.5M. This initiative was created to provide the students of School City of Mishawaka unique educational opportunities that are outside the normal funding process thereby enhancing their overall educational environment.
