United Way of Posey County Pajamas All Day 5K/Walk Run & Kids Dash

Join us for the United Way of Posey County Pajamas All Day 5K/Walk Run & Kids Dash!  Come out in and participate your favorite family friendly pajamas!  This event will raise money to support our agencies and the programs within Posey County in relation to health, financial security, and education.  The event will be held Saturday, November 4, 2023, with the race starting at 8:00 a.m.  Kid's Dash following at 9:15 a.m.  The Kid's Dash will consist of 50 yards for ages 5 and under and 100 yards for ages 6 to 10.  Awards will be given to top overall 3 females and top 3 males in each age category. 

Individuals that register for the 5K by or before October 19,2023, will receive a t-shirt and goodie bag.  Come and enjoy the fun!!!

Packet pick up on race day will be at the park located at Main and Sixth Streets in Mt. Vernon, Indiana.  Course map will be added when finalized!

Up Date:    Pajama’s All Day 5k Race Route

Start at 6th and Walnut Street

Go Straight onto Walnut until you get to 10th Street.

Turn right on 10th Street

Turn right on Mulberry Street

Turn left on 6th Street

Turn left on Canal St

Follow the curve around to Locust Street, turn right (Mile 1 is right after this)

Turn right on E 10th Street

Turn right on L&N Street

Turn left on W 8th Street

Turn left on Harriett St.

Turn right onto E 9th Street.

Turn left into the Track

Do two laps in the track (You’ll hit Mile 2 on the second Lap)

Turn left back onto E 9th Street and follow the road around the school

Go straight onto Everett Street

Turn right onto E 5th Street (You’ll hit Mile 3 right behind the Cox Building)

Turn Right onto Walnut Street.

Finish at Walnut Street and 6th Street.
