Description
The two-person team races on a course having six legs with forking on the first four legs. While one person is running the other is resting. The distance for each of the first four legs is 2.1-2.5 km. The distance for the last two legs is 3.3 km. By the end of the race each team member will have run 7.9 km - this is the minimum distance you could run but it may not be the fastest. Best team time is determined on the first four legs. Best individual time is determined on the last two legs. The race is on the trails and through the fields at the park.
The event HQ is at the Fragomeni Shelter at St. Patrick's County Park.
Schedule for the Day:
- 8:00 am - Park opens
- 8:20 am - Event HQ opens at Fragomeni Shelter
- 8:20 am - warm up course opens - this course will be ~1.7 km
- 8:20 am - instruction will be provided if needed during the warm up period
- 9:30 am - warm up course closes
- 9:35 am - briefing for all participants at the exchange area near the Event HQ
- 9:50 am - walk to the start
- 10:00 am - start
