Frozen Toes Lacrosse Run 5K

Shrug the winter blues off, get amazing race swag, get healthier, and support the brand new Lacrosse team at Victory Christian Academy, Valparaiso, IN (a registered non-profit). VCA is a non-denominational Christian school in Porter County that provides an excellent education that strengthens the mind, body, and spirit to students from PreK to 12th grade. Indiana's educational voucher system allows children from all socio-economic situations to attend our school. Lacrosse is one of the fastest growing sports, both at the high-school and collegiate level. Starting a new team is a costly proposition, and with this fundraiser we are trying to reduce the out of pocket expenses of playing for our student-athletes. 

About the Race:

Distance: 5K (Virtual)

Date:        Since this is a winter run and weather could be a major factor for runners who chose to run outside, this race will have a one week window, from February 13 to February 20.

Times tracked:  You may chose to run or walk anywhere you like. We will keep track of results in two different divisions - races completed on treadmills or tracks (indoor or outdoor) and races completed on outdoor routes (road races or cross country). Runners will self report results. 

Do I have to submit my time: NO! You may walk, jog, or run at your own pace and you do not need to upload your results in order to receive your race swag!

We will do our best to mail your swag  (a t-shirt and a medal) upon the completion of the race period, but we do realized that COVID19 may impact our suppliers. We will keep you updated on shipping dates.
