Join Valpo Parks for a fun-filled weekend of all things bicycling at Creekside Trails! The Valpo Parks Bike Fest is focused on bringing enthusiasts, competitors, casual participants, and spectators together to share in the mental, physical, and social benefits of bicycling.

Friday, August 16: 4:00-8:00 PM

Family Fun Night and Family Twilight Trail Ride

Bring the family out to kick off Fest Weekend! Activities will include a bonfire with s'mores, bounce house, face painter, and craft. Live music provided by Trailyard. Families can enjoy a guided Twilight Trail Ride at 7pm through the scenic Creekside Golf Course and Trails. It's a chance to bond with your crew and soak up the beauty of nature, all on two wheels!  Valpo Bike Fest shirt included with registration. *Registration required.  Helmets required, headlights encouraged. Register by 8/5 to guarantee your shirt.

Saturday, August 17: 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Race Day and Backyard Hangout

A jam-packed day of racing and riding for all interest and ability levels. Bikers can choose the competitive race that's right for them during the day, and stick around for the Valpo Night Ride at night! DJ and live music from 10am-10pm. Registration required for all events. Check-in Begins at 10am.  Register by 8/5 to guarantee your shirt.

Saturday Night, August 17: 9:00 PM

10 Mile Valpo Night Ride

Same fun Night Ride, new location! Led by Valpo PD, this scenic, relaxing ride winds it's way through the city streets by starlight before returning back to Creekside Golf Course for a post-race meal. Check-in begins at 8pm. *Please note that this event will begin and end at Creekside Golf Course.  *Please note that for 2024 Night Ride space will be limited.  Register early to ensure your participation.  Register by 8/5 to guarantee your shirt.

Starting in 2024, this ride will be designed for riders aged 13 and up. This adjustment ensures a comfortable pace for everyone, allowing the group to stay together and enjoy the experience to the fullest. We understand that changes can take some getting used to, and we hope that families join us on Friday for the Family Fun Night and Twilight Trail Ride at Valpo Bike Fest.
