Description
This event welcomes the public to historic Fort Leavenworth, Kansas, and raises funds for the Command and General Staff College Foundation and the Kansas City Friends of Fisher House. Funds raised support the education and welfare of U.S. and international students, staff, and faculty of the U.S. Army Command and General Staff College and our military, veterans and their families while residing at the Fisher House located on the Kansas City VA Medical Center campus.
The Frontier Freedom 5K/10K run/walk features a beautiful tree-lined course that will start and finish at the Frontier Army Museum and will weave through Fort Leavenworth, the oldest active U.S. Army post west of the Mississippi River. Race participants will receive a custom race shirt and compete for age group and overall awards.

INSTRUCTIONS TO GET THROUGH THE FORT LEAVENWORTH GATE FOR FRONTIER FREEDOM 5K REGISTRANTS WHO DO NOT POSSESS A DOD/CAC ID CARD
For members of the public that DO NOT have a DoD/CAC ID card, new access procedures are in place. Please go to the Fort Leavenworth Visitor Pass site:
