Holiday Light Hustle 5K Fun Run

Wrap yourself in lights, garland & jingle bells. Wear that crazy Christmas sweater that’s been stuck in the back of your closet. Brush up on your carols. Lace up those shoes. And, join your running friends as we take a fun walk/run to marvel at the festive lighting displays.

Start: 7:00 p.m. at Pizza Shoppe on 127th and Pflumm (meet in the parking lot)

Course: We will run/walk approximately 3 miles through Nottingham by the Green and return to Pizza Shoppe for pizza and drinks afterward.

Hot Cocoa Stations: We will continue our tradition of setting up a hot chocolate and cookie “aid- stations” along the route.

What to Wear: Be festive! You can usually buy battery operated craft lights at Michaels or Party City. Walgreens also has battery operated lights right now. Garland, bells, Santa hats… ugly sweaters... be creative!

We have a lot of fun with this every year. This is a very casual run with lots of stops so we don't leave people behind. You are welcome to "race," but there is no timing :-)

REMEMBER we are running on dark streets. IF you are not wearing lights, a headlamp, flashlight or reflective clothing is recommended. You run at your own risk. Watch out for traffic, potholes, and other runners/bikers/strollers.

Prizes: There will be prizes for 1) adult with the most bling 2) child with the most holiday spirit
