Autism Society - The Heartland 5K/1K Virtual Fun Run

Looking for a fun way to give back with your family? Join Autism Society - The Heartland for our 3rd annual 5K/1K Fun Run September 19, 2020 through a VIRTUAL platform! This event gives participants the opportunity to run or walk a 5k or 1k course. All registered 5k participants will receive a t-shirt, finisher’s medal, and have access to submit their time online! All registered 1k participants will receive a t-shirt!

The first 300 registered participants will receive a FREE Worlds of Fun ticket to use after the race or any day through September 13, 2020 OR during the 2021 regular season. Participants will still be required to pay for parking when redeeming their FREE ticket. 

Worlds of Fun states that the 5K race with the Autism Society - The Heartland has become one of our favorite community events. While we’re disappointed we didn’t get to play host to all the runners this year, we will continue to support our local Autism Society and all the work they do in our community. We hope the event will return in 2021, bigger and better than ever.

Special pricing for the 5k and 1k is available to our families with PAID ASH Memberships. Please contact our office (913-706-0042) to get the special discount codes!

This race will benefit the lives of all affected by Autism in Kansas and Missouri.

More Virtual Race Day Details

A virtual race is a race that can be run or walked from any location you choose. You simply need to complete the race by midnight on September 19!

The resource fair for this event has been cancelled. Sponsors will still be able to showcase their companies by having their advertisements and materials mailed to participants with the t-shirt and/or medal! Sponsorship opportunities are still available!

Volunteer opportunities have been cancelled for this event.
