Dark Dash 5K – A Night to Glow!

Join us for a fun-filled Dark Dash 5K, a glow-in-the-dark night race organized and managed entirely by the 4th graders at Hodgenville Elementary School! This one-of-a-kind event will take place on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 8:48 PM, with packet pickup starting at 7:30 PM.

Get ready for an electric atmosphere complete with glowing lights, fun glow-in-the-dark items, and a pre-race dance party to get everyone in the racing spirit. From the race name, theme, and t-shirts to the medals and planning details—everything about the Dark Dash 5K was thoughtfully designed by the creative and hardworking 4th-grade class. And did we mention the handmade awards for our top finishers, most spirited, and other fun categories. One of a kind awards for a one of a kind race.

Registration is $25, and all proceeds will support the “Hawk Store,” a program benefiting students at Hodgenville Elementary. Sign up before May 1, 2025, to guarantee a special race t-shirt designed by the students!
