2021 Opt-2-Run for Kids 5K Run/Walk. The Optimist Club of Radcliff is part of Optimist International. Optimist International is an association of more than 2,900 Optimist Clubs around the world dedicated to “Bringing Out the Best in Kids”. Adult volunteers join Optimist Clubs to conduct positive service projects in their
communities aimed at providing a helping hand to youth. Each Optimist Club determines the needs of the young people in its community and conducts
programs to meet those needs. Every year, Optimists conduct 65,000 service projects and serve well over six million young people. Since 1963 the Optimist
Club of Radcliff has faithfully conducted several projects annually, including essay and oratorical contests, sports competitions, and fun activities directed at
family fun. The proceeds from this event will continue to benefit the previously mentioned activities.

This event is open to the first 100 paid registrations ONLY

SWAG

All runners that register by the t-shirt deadline (July 16, 2021) will receive a FREE race t-shirt. Runners who complete the course on race day will also receive a finishers medal.

PACKET PICKUP

Thursday, August 5th and Friday, August 6th from 6pm to 8pm at Colvin Community Center In Radcliff (outside under the awning)

AWARDS

No overall or age group awards. ALL runners will receive a finishers' medal for completing the 5K route.

COURSE

The run/walk course will be four loops around the blacktopped Radcliff Retention Basin Hiking path.
