1 Mile GLOW FUN RUN/WALK

Join us on Friday, November 6th for an exciting fall run that raises money for our school's cross-country team.

LOCATION:  Run starts and ends at West Point Independent School 

                      209 N. 13th St. West Point, KY 40177

DATE:  November 4, 2016

Time: Start time 6:00 pm.  Registration/Sign-in/T-shirt Pick-up begins at 5:00.  Children’s Costume Parade will be held in the school gym at 5:30 (Prior to the race beginning). 

Cost: Pre-registration by October 21st is $5 and a bag of candy for trick-or-treat stations.  Day of Race registration or registration after October 21st is $10 and a bag of candy for trick-or-treat stations.  Children 3 and over need to register.  Children 2 and younger are free but need to be included on your registration form.  Registration fee includes 1 glow necklace; children's trick-or-treat activity, and participation in the costume parade.  Other glow items will be on sale on race day.  Children pre-registration includes a medal.

T-shirts:  A custom designed t-shirt will be available for purchase.  Participants may pre-order shirts by October 21st for $12 with an additional $2 for shirts that are XXL or larger.  Shirts on race day will be in limited supply and will be $15 each with an additional $2 for shirts that are XXL or larger.   

The route will be pavement and strollers are welcome.  There will be trick-or-treat stations set up along the path for child participants. Run/Walk will be at dusk and marked by glow in the dark materials as well as volunteers.  Children can participate in a costume parade before the race begins at 5:30. This is a RAIN OR SHINE event (It will only be rescheduled in case of extreme weather).

RELEASE OF LIABILITY (Adult) Waiver: In consideration of the acceptance of this entry I waive all claims for myself and my heirs against the sponsors, cooperating and coordinating groups and any individuals associated with this event and will hold them harmless for any and all injuries which may result from my participation. I hereby give my permission to the media to use my name and photograph in the newspaper, broadcast, telecast of this event without limitation or obligation. I certify that I am physically fit for this event and understand the risks involved by participating in this event.
