Doc's DASH for Pennington Biomedical Research Center

Doc's DASH is an annual event benefiting the Pennington Biomedical Research Center. Located right here in Baton Rouge, LSU’s Pennington Biomedical is a world renowned research center that puts science to work for a healthier Louisiana. Their discoveries have changed the way America eats, exercises and ages; and have advanced treatments for diseases from diabetes to obesity.

Help their disease detectives provide hope for a healthier tomorrow to those suffering or at risk from diabetes, cancer, heart disease, obesity and dementia. Your support will help Pennington Biomedical continue to recruit and retain the finest scientists, advance discoveries to prevent disease and benefit mankind, and build a knowledge-based pathway to economic development for our region and state.

Packet Pickup is Friday, Sept. 23rd at Pennington Biomedical Research Center from 11:00AM till 6:00PM. Registration will be availble.

Open to registrants of all ages.

5k Run/Walk - Males and Females
6 & under, 7-12, 13 & 14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69 and 70+

RACE AWARDS

1-Mile Fun Run/Walk
Registrants of all ages are welcome, however ONLY the 1st place Male and Female ages 5-14 will receive an award.

5k Run/Walk - Males and Females
Overall winners - Awards will be presented to the overall fastest male and female 5K finishers.
Race age divisions - 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place awards will be presented to the top Male and Female finishers in each age division.

 RACE SHIRT SIZES

Race Shirts: Unisex and Youth Sizes run true to size, however Ladies Sizes are tapered cut.
