Reindeer Run is an annual December 5K race and 1-mile run/walk. We thank our support partners (Umami Creative Design, Perfectly Fit Sports and Southeastern Louisiana University) for their valued assistance.

ALL participants in both the 5K and 1 Mile run can expect to receive a custom finisher medal after their runs. This will be an exciting event for both seasoned runners and families - a great time for all!

Because the Reindeer Run is a family event we welcome strollers, including jogging strollers, onto the course. Children in strollers do not have to be registered unless a parent wants his or her child to also receive a finisher medal.

Our race starts and finishes in Downtown Hammond's Cate Square Park and concludes with a Holiday themed after Party.

The 1 Mile fun run begins a little early this year at 8 a.m. and the 5K will start immediately after the last 1-mile runner clears the course.

Downtown Hammond provides numerous FREE parking options, including a parking mall just a short walk away from the starting line.

Packet pickup will be held on Friday, December 6 at Perfectly Fit Sports from noon to close as well as on race day from 6:30 to 7:30.
