HES Anchor Run

The HES Anchor Run is an event to support Haughton Elementary School. All proceeds will be designated for student resources. Join us for an exciting event and help us in supporting a local school in our community.

PLACE: First Baptist Church Haughton, Haughton, LA

DATE & STARTING TIME: Saturday, February 22nd, at First Baptist Church Haughton 

The ½ Mile Fun Run will begin @ 8:00am

5k will begin at 8:30am.

COURSE DESCRIPTION: The 5k Run will begin in the parking lot of First Baptist Church Haughton and will run through Cornerstone Subdivision and then back to the church. 

The Fun Run will also start at the church.

Fun Run: The Fun Run will also start and end at First Baptist Church Haughton

Race Packet Pick up: Pre-registered participants will receive an official race T-Shirt.

Race packets can be picked up at Sportspectrum, 6970 Fern Avenue, Shreveport - 

Thursday, February 20th, 12 p.m. - 6 p.m., 

Friday, February 21st, 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. or on Race Day from 7 a.m. - 8 a.m. at race site- First Baptist Church Haughton 

5k Registration:  All ages can register for the 5K.

Early Bird Registration is $15 through Friday, January 24th

Registration is $20 through Friday, February 14th @ 3:00 p.m..

Late registration is $25, from Friday February 14th @ 3:01 p.m. - Race Day (not guaranteed a t-shirt)

Fun Run Registration: Children 10 & under may register for the ½ Mile Fun Run.

Fun Run is $10 - flat fee

Sleep in Supporter: If you cannot be there, but still want to show your support. Pricing schedule is the same as 5k Registration. (You will still receive a t-shirt) 

AWARDS: Overall Male & Female winners in the 5K will receive a cash prize and a medal.

1st and 2nd place male and female 5K winners will receive medals in the following age groups: 8-under, 9-11, 12-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+

1/2 mile Fun Run Awards: Medals will be given for Overall 1st and 2nd Place Male & Female (age 10 and under).  Fun run ribbons will be given to each participant.
