Flamingo Trot - 5k Virtual Race

For the fifth consecutive year, the Flamingo Trot 5K Virtual race will be held beginning Dec 31,2020 .  You will have until Jan 10,2021 to complete your miles ! While we cannot hold the race physically this year at the beautiful Lake Claiborne State Park , you can still do your miles there on your own !  Our goal is to keep everyone safe and healthy .  Our goal is to provide an in person race in 2021 . All the proceeds will be donated in support of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (“LLS”). 

The LLS mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease, and myeloma and to improve the quality of life for patients and their families.  Last year, LLS awarded $76 million in grant funding to over 400 research programs.  LLS-funded research has advanced treatments such as chemotherapy, stem cell transplantation, and lifesaving “smart” drugs which have become standard therapies for many other cancers.

5k Virtual:

All virtual race participants will receive a wooden medallion medal.  

All virtual participants will be mailed medal and/or shirt after Jan 10 ,2021.  Please allow for shipping delays due to the pandemic of up to 4-8 weeks  of delivery .
