Please join The Junior League of Monroe for our first 5K at Forsythe Park on October 1st, 2022. We have tons of exciting things planned for all ages including a the Kid's costume dash and Fall Festival. We will start with sign up at 8:00am, and the 5K will start at 9:00am. The fall festival will be from 10:00am - 1:00pm. The Kids Costume Dash will start at 11:30, with multiple age groups running through 12:30. The 5K run awards will be given at 11:00 and the Kid's Costume Dash awards will be given at closing ceremony from 12:30pm - 1:00pm.

Each child that enters will receive a medal after their time slot with the winner from each group to be awarded prizes at closing ceremony. We have the option to register with, or without the T-Shirt purchase for the run with the deadline for being September 9th for shirt orders.


Live music will be from 11:00-12:30 and we are excited to announce that we will have Clara McBroom.

We will have food trucks in site including: Blue Taco, Johnny Freeze Cream Ice, Dee's Delights, Smilin' Dragon BBQ and more!


The fall festival will include a bounce house and slide, festival games, and more. A few of the games are listed below! We can't wait for everyone to come out and have a good time.

Race Information for Participants


Running for a Cause! Thanks Runners!  

Race weekend is quickly approaching and we are so thankful to have you run with us! Below you will find some helpful information regarding race day!

Early Packet Pick Up - Friday, September 30, 2022 from 11AM - 8PM at the JLM League House, 2811 Cameron Street, Monroe, LA 71201.  We will be taking registrations that day as well, so make sure to bring along anyone who is still wanting to sign up!

Race start time is 9:00AM at Forsythe Park. 

We will be taking additional registrations and have packet pick up at the park on Saturday morning from 8:00AM - 8:45 AM for those who are not able to make it to on Friday. Any registrations done on race day will increase by $5.00.  

Online registration will close Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 11:59pm.

Age Groups:

Male - 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & up

Female - 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50 & up

For the 5K, we will have First, Second and Third Place winners from each age group as well as an overall winner for each gender group.

Water Stations - there will be 2-3 on the course that will be passed along the route.  Volunteers will pour water into cups and place them on tables. Runners will have to grab these as they pass by and we will have additional volunteers to help with distribution. 

Award Ceremony - The 5K and Kid's Costume Dash Awards will take place at the Band Stand at 12:30PM..  

Kid's Costume Dash - The races will begin at 11:30AM with our first age group and run through 12:30PM. Our age groups are as follows: 0-3, 4-6, 7-9, 10-12. The 0-3 age category will race near the band stand. All other categories will race in the soccer fields near the entrance.
